Silver Lakes Golf & Country Club is located on 200 acres of gently rolling countryside in the lush Holland Landing area, and is carved from a mature forest. This is one of the GTA's best layouts, a four-star championship course with the look, feel and atmosphere of the Carolinas.

Silver Lakes winds its way through well-treed terrain alongside the beautiful Holland River. Neighbouring wetlands are a big part of the course, coming into play on twelve holes, and great care has been taken to preserve natural habitats. It is not unusual to see many species of birds and other wildlife including deer and the majestic blue heron peppered throughout the course.

The Highlands prides itself on being a well-groomed place to play that suits both the casual and accomplished golfer. In 2005, the Club was named the "Best Under $50 Golf Course in the GTA" by Score Magazine.

Designed by David Moote and opened in the late 1980's, the course fetures rolling terrain and generous fairways, with well-guarded greens. This riding school was established in 1974 with the purpose of satisfying the requirements of the equestrian as an individual. The school programs are aimed at the individuals interest and level of riding, either for pleasure or for showing. Programs are available in equitation, jumping and dressage.
